UA Local 211 - Houston

UA Local 211 has been training qualified pipe tradesmen since 1949, when they were chartered. The UA boasts the premier training programs available in the industry today, including five year apprenticeship programs, extensive journeymen training, organized instructor training and certification programs. With three apprenticeship training centers offering five-year apprenticeship training, UA Local 211 apprentices will grow in the industry as a Journeyman, obtaining top scale pay and a successful career as a Pipefitter, Welder or HVAC-R Service Technician.

UA Local 211 Jurisdiction

UA Local 211 represents pipe trades apprentices and journeymen throughout Houston and the surrounding areas. It is one of two United Association Local Unions in the Houston area. UA Local 211 has three Union Halls within the jurisdiction to best support their membership. Local 211 also has four training centers so apprentices and journeymen can obtain training without unreasonable travel.
